Whats I"m Up To

2.26.2003

Blah, war whats up with that. Okay just so people know right off the bat, I'm prolly more of the republican persuasion but I havn't fully supported either party, all I can say is I think the repubs have it more right than the Dems.

Okay this whole War buisness, people rush to conclusions so damn fast, and we have all these protests and these people don't even realize what they are protesting for. No one wants war, least of all the President himself. Saddam has broken his treaty and is in violation of mandates from the UN Security council, and as of late the Security Council hasn't been doing what they are supposed to do...ensure security. We seem to be the only country that is trying to enforce it right now.

We have people protesting against War, all they are doing is supporting Saddam, he's even thanked those americans who have done so. Again we don't want to go to war, its that we might have to. Saddam is a Dictator, the Iraqi people live in tyranny, he has assisted and supported terrorist actions against the U.S. and other countries I'm sure. We are not out to Bomb Iraq to the stone age, we want to liberate their people and get rid of Saddam. Its not like the 60's when we were in Vietnam for a cause no one believed in. This is a person who has done awful things to his country, and now we have protestors essentially giving him permission to do so. He has weapons, we know he does, he tolerates these inspections and makes it as hard as possible for them to do their job, he tolerating not submitting to them.

I have more ideas on this topic but its hard to do so without going into Pres. Bush who I support, and all this new Anti-American activism that seems to be popping up a lot now. bwa
