Tales From the Game Journal -1

I bought Sly 2: Band of Thieves last night, because of dinner with the folks, and some girlfriend issues I didn't get to play last night. I had to get up at 7 this morning for my 8am Calculus class, then I had a nice 2 and a half hours to get into it. I was also dealing with a nice big headache, so Sly eased my pain a bit. Can I say how much I loved the first game (Sly Cooper and the Thievious Racoonus), so much fun but tragicly short...or maybe it was just so good I didn't want to stop playing. Such great platforming nirvana. A nice direct path, and if you get good you can just blast through it and look like an acrobat. I live for presision jumping in video games.

But back to Sly 2, I've gotten through the first heist so far and its fun times, and from that it seems like it will definetly be a longer game. And of course the GTA influence is even felt here, with the much more open environments than the first game, and more free form. The HUB areas are much bigger as i said but the main objective areas are a bit shorter, so far you spend more time getting to a level, than the level itself. I say that, but I still am having fun playing it its a good game.

Hmm I should probably stop typing this up and pay attention in my PHP class. More later folks.
